Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral devices.

• Use master consoles to monitor the functionality of computer systems and networks and to coordinate network access and use.

Set up networks in local areas and Internet connections.

• Perform a diagnosis and installation of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.

• Implement network traffic and security monitoring tools, as well as server performance optimization.

• Perform data restoration and backup operations on Web servers.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Educational criteria include college diploma/CEGEP in network administration or related field is preferred

• 2-3 years of experience within a similar role or performing the equivalent duties is preferred.

•Ability to perform repetitive tasks and sitting capacity for extended hours

•A solid understanding of Linux, networking software, networking security, Microsoft Windows, and information technology

Proven ability to make sound decisions, especially under pressure, considering both short-term and long-term implications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
